| WHO ARE YOU |
01.) What are your goals in life?
• To continue to be happy and comfortable and help my friends and family stay happy and comfortable.
• To read sooooooooo many books! All kinds of books and some of them will be awesome great books and some of them will suck so much noogie. But, I will read them. It will happen.
• To get married to my boy-thing and make wonderful fugly babies with him.
• To maybe try not to be such a jerk to everyone all the time.
• To learn how to cook, because I love to eat.
02.) What do you care about most?
I think I care about taking care of the people that matter to me most. I'm usually the first one to drop everything and go toddling over to someone who might need help with something.
03.) What is one thing you would change about the world today?
I honestly think that, if everyone would stop being a jerk for, like, one day! All of our global issues could be fixed. Because, really, what problems are not caused by someone who's just going around being a huge dick?
04.) Is there anything in your life that you regret?
Uh. I regret not being more active in school. I don't have half the good memories that my friends do of high school and I kind of regret it.
05.) Describe your top positive characteristics.
• I'm fun and energetic and pretty much always happy to see everybody.
• I am not a negative Nancy.
• I'm very polite (thanks, Grandma).
06.) Describe your top negative characteristics.
• I can be a jerk/dick.
• I'm more than a little mischievous.
• I have a lazy streak a mile wide.
07.) Pick a favorite quote and explain what it means to you.
"I know many books which have bored their readers, but I know of none which has done real evil." - Voltaire.
I hate finding quotes, but I found this one. Voltaire is one of my favorite quote ridden people. His quotes always fit me, but sometimes it's hard for me to find one I can actual go on a spiel about.
I once read a list of the top ten books that very nearly destroyed the world. I read the list out of curiosity, but honestly disagreed with every book. Books like Mein Kampf, Communist Manifesto, and The Prince by Machiavelli. But, these are all just books. They're all opinions and knowledge put down on paper. The books didn't hurt anyone or destroy anything. I've read the Communist Manifesto, but I'm pretty sure that I don't want to start a communist nation and support a dictator at its head to oppress his people. Books aren't evil, but evil men will use powerful books and media to their own end. This is definitely a quote I can get behind.

08.) Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?
Severus Snape!
09.) Least favorite?
Hermione Grager. :0
10.) Who would you have been friends with at Hogwarts?
Ron Weasley, probably.
11.) What would you most enjoy about your time at Hogwarts?
The Magic ~ of course! And, also, possibly, the portraits and ghosts.
12.) Describe each of the four houses as you see them:
Looking back at my application, I have a feeling I'm going to end up in Hufflepuff (which wouldn't be horrible, I'm sure I come off awfully fluffy and adorable on more than one occasion). But, I like the Slytherins. I really think that the whole slimy goo ball aspect is more of just something that a few bad apples have brought on the house. Really, I think that they're probably very realistic and resourceful people, the kind of people who have common sense, rather than book sense. I feel like Hufflepuff gets a bad rap, as well. For being a house for weaklings and girly-men! This is dumb-face stupid bigotry! >0 They're just lovely people, lovelier than you, who likes to build your bias' on foundations of sand!
Ahem. I would enjoy either of these houses.

Gryffindor:13.) Which house do you feel the least affinity for?
They are courageous, hard-headed, and always in motion. Out-going, extroverted, and always the people at the beginning and end of trouble.
Hufflepuff:
They are kind, caring, and simple. They are less interested in action and adventure and more interested in the simple pleasures of life.
Ravenclaw:
They are intelligent, focused, and reserved. I'd like to think that they're all a little introverted and focused on their own well-being, rather than that of others.
Slytherin:
They are cunning, charming, and loaded with common sense. They are probably the most down to earth and resourceful of the four houses.

Date: 2012-03-21 02:50 am (UTC)I think that just as people assume Hufflepuffs are all soft and useless and Slytherins are mean and evil, many assume Gryffindor requires one to be outspoken and arrogant, but none of these things are the case.
I think you would make an excellent Gryffindor. :)
