IT'S OFFICIAL!

Alrighty, so now that my life (hopefully) has decided to warrant me time to spend online, I'm willing to put forth the effort to try and get this community up and running.

There are currently 3 applications in the Sorting queue.

"Terms" will not officially start until we have more of an established community, however, sorting points accrued between now and official term dates will go toward the first official term when that time does come around. Official term announcement will go up when the time comes.

My goal right now is to get as many people involved as I possibly can, so aside from my own advertising, I'm relying on word of mouth. Dreamwidth, in my personal experience, has been a lot quieter then Livejournal. But I'm totally gung ho on getting this community up and running. And I really would like to see it flourish.

So here we go!

I'll tell people about it, but I don't think any of my DW friends are Potterheads, so we'll see.

I actually think I'd like to try this, and I think you've got a great idea, so I'm going to try and see what support I can get for it on my journal with the code you listed! (^-^)v

By the way, would you like me to make any GIFs or anything for the community, to add some fun graphics and color? I'm one of the admin over at attackallaround, where I did most of the recent GIFs, so if you like what you see and had any ideas, I can try to make one for you! I love Harry Potter--books and movies--devoutly, so I'd be glad to!

As an addendum to some other stuff that's already been said. . it may help to actually get the community going, and see how it all works and how involved everyone is. . . ? It's much easier to have something to lure people in via experience. Just an offhand 02 cents. ;)
