| WHO ARE YOU |
01.) What are your goals in life?
I'm currently still at school and about to enter my second year of A levels, and will be starting the process of university/college applications. My parents have been incredibly generous and supportive through out my school life, and want to achieve to my full potential to show them that I appreciate the education they've put me through and everything they've done, that's the ultimate goal right now. Specifically I want to get into law in a more scientific field, so a in-house lawyer for a chemical company for instance, or something of the sort. I want to be able to make a name for myself in two fields that are easily argued to be more male dominated fieldsthe feminist in me and show exactly what I'm capable of.
A longer life goal is to have a child, whether it be with a partner or without, a child of my own or adopted.
I'd also quite like to get a cat.
02.) What do you care about most?
The happiness of myself and those I care for. It's a bit of a cop-out answer because I personally think that happiness comes from a general good well being, so good health and hygiene as well as a support network of people who truly care about you, no matter the actual size of that network. But I find that being happy and content brings with it other positive aspects such as confidence, a drive and thirst for life, and a want to live life to the full, which is ultimately what I want for myself and others.
03.) What is one thing you would change about the world today?
Issues to do with racism and prejudice. While I see that as a nation we've come far from how we used to see the issue of the 'divide' between races, I've found that racism has turned to something of a joke that it's almost socially acceptable to joke about, which I find wrong. I remember when I was a few years younger I suffered a fair amount of torment from a certain boy in my school, who kept making racist comments (I'm half Asian and look predominately so) in a joking manner. Being fairly good tempered I put up with it, until he made a series of jokes about the bird flu that affected Asia which really hit home because an elderly relative of mine died from catching the disease as he had become simply too old and weak to fight it off. It's an issue of knowing when you've taken a joke to far, and so people just shouldn't make jokes about matters like that at all, because some will be more sensitive and affected buy it than others and there are other actually amusing things you can make jokes about than ones that are made at other people's expense.
04.) Is there anything in your life that you regret?
Not really no. Obviously I've had a few embarrassing moments where I've groaned to myself, "Oh why would you do that?!" but overall there's nothing that's happened to me so far in life that I truly regret. I'm a big believer of the idea that things happen for a reason and while making decisions can take us on a completely different life path, each path is layed out for us and though there is the chance to alter it slightly, we must ultimately accept what comes our way and deal with it accordingly. Some of us are dealt with better cards than others but how you adapt and grow to deal with it is how you can try and live your life without regrets.
05.) Describe your top positive characteristics.
I'll do a top 5 so I don't ramble on too much;something i have the tendency to do
1. I'm a very helpful person. I enjoy helping others, as long as I think they deserve my help and rarely expect anything in return.
2. I'm logical. My head rules over my heart and when it comes down to a decision, it's always a pros vs. cons list that helps me decide, not whichever one my heart wants me to follow.
3. I adapt very easily. I've lived in various places over the years and have found it easy to alter my way of life slightly to fit into my surroundings more seamlessly, making life easier for me in the long run.
4. I hope my friends would agree that I'm a very loyal person. Once you've earned my love and friendship, you've earned it for life and it would take an incredibly, intentionally mean or selfish act for me to revoke that friendship.
5. I'm very un-confrontational. I don't really know if this is a positive or negative thing, but I'm struggling to think of anymore positives lol. I hate arguments and fights and drama, for no reason. I'll get onto why I emphasized that last bit below, but I hate it when people try to stir up a bit of drama just for the fun of it. I'd much prefer to bite my lip a bit and talk things out than get into an all guns blazing argument and cause people to pick sides just because someone else spoke to a guy I liked.
06.) Describe your top negative characteristics.
Again, I'll do a top 5;
1. I can be quite a closed off person until I get to know someone. I'm a Scorpio in the Zodiac and we're known as a star-sign for being quite secretive and quiet around those we don't know and that represents me quite well.
2. Linking to my 5th positive above, I'm a very stubborn person, especially when expressing my views. While I don't like arguments and spats over stupid things, if I feel very strongly about something, I can argue your ear off until I prove myself right. I'm also very stubborn when it comes to emotions as well, sometimes even over something as silly as apologizing.
3. I can be quite emotional, changing from chirpy to grumpy very easily over the stupidest things.
4. I don't even know if there's a word for this, but I tend to be very snappy and sarcastic when I'm uncomfortable when don't know what to say and I always regret it afterwards, but it comes as a reflex to me. I'm working on it though.
5. Let's just say it was far easier for me to think up five negative characteristics over the five positive. (Low self-esteem.)
07.) Pick a favorite quote and explain what it means to you.
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss.
I love this quote and try to live by it, though it is difficult at times because I do care what others think of me at times. I want people to love and like me for exactly who I am, flaws and all and be able to express my own views without caring too much that they'll get shot down and I won't be able to back them up. And the end of the quote I find to be very true, and I only want those who truly matter to be the ones who get to experience the true me.

08.) Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?
I think I'll have to say Hermione. I loved her development through out the books, and how sure and confident she is of herself she seems, though she may be more insecure on the inside. She's definitely been one of my role models growing up with the books and movies and I used to desperately wish I had lovely curly hair like she does!
09.) Least favorite?
Peter Pettigrew. His cowardice and betrayal of those who trusted him makes me sick and disgusted.
10.) Who would you have been friends with at Hogwarts?
I like to think Luna Lovegood would befriend me, because I would love to be her friend for how quirky and fascinating she is. I would probably have a small close-knit group of friends who are much more in the background at Hogwarts than the Golden Trio for instance, as I'd want a group of low-key, true friends who are happy to get on with their lives out of the limelight.
11.) What would you most enjoy about your time at Hogwarts?
Ooh, probably the lessons! Some of my favourite parts of the books where when they were just sitting in lessons, because the different subjects they learn fascinate me.
12.) Describe each of the four houses as you see them:
13.) Which house do you feel the least affinity for?
I think I'm the least like a Gryffindor. I don't think I have a lot of courage and brashness that I feel Gryffindor's tend to have about them. Obviously my levels of courage can change depending on the situation, but I think everyone's can and the fact I don't have it constantly rooted in me makes me feel I'm not very Gryffindor!lion-like.

Ooh, probably the lessons! Some of my favourite parts of the books where when they were just sitting in lessons, because the different subjects they learn fascinate me.
12.) Describe each of the four houses as you see them:
Gryffindor:
I find that there is quite a large spectrum of those who could be considered Gryffindor. They are brave and courageous and not afraid to stand up to others and while there are those who are obviously like that, I can see others in the house only showing these traits when the time calls for it.
Hufflepuff:
While Hufflepuff's may be more well known as the friendly, oh-anything-goes house, I think they're much more than that. They're known for their loyalty and hard-working attitudes, which are both traits I think are very admirable and wonderful things to be described as. They could easily take down the rest of the school, they just choose not to.
Ravenclaw:
Ravenclaw's are more obviously known as being clever and witty, but as far as more descriptive personality traits go, I've always thought of Ravenclaw's as much more secluded people, even more than Slytherin's. They're respected not only for their brains and knowledge but for their maybe quieter, perceptive attitudes towards life, or at least that's how I've always envisioned them.
Slytherin:
I find Slytherin's can be described purely through their well known buzz word; ambition. There are those who are quietly ambitious, and maybe even deadly so and those who can be louder and prouder about it. Slytherin's know what they want and while it may vary on how each of them goes about achieving their goal, they reach it in the end, no matter what.

<3 the Dr. Seuss quote!!!!!
You are very logically driven and as you said you tend to work more with your head than your heart. That strikes me as more Ravenclaw or Slytherin, and your answer to the first question would have me thinking Ravenclaw.
You show some 'Puffish qualities, but they aren't domineering enough for me to justify sticking you there.
You do have a fairly healthy balance of all four houses, which I love and hate because then I get all indecisive and go "SLYTHERIN! NO! GRYFFINDOR! ERM--Hufflepuff?! No...I DON'T KNOW!" Which is frustrating for me and apparently hilarious to everyone watching me. But anyway.
My overall feel is Slytherin. Because you are ambitious, you don't give your loyalty freely, and you are more logically minded than emotionally minded. (Not that Slytherins can't be emotional, it's just how I see the traits of the houses.)
Good luck with the rest of your sorting!
